I purchased this item to help prevent bugs and roaches from being in my dining and living room areas. It has four functions that can be turned on or off depending on your needs. I personally turned them all on for maximum protection. Function 1- ultrasonic sounds (you can’t hear them). Function 2- odor remover to reduce Mosquitos (we don’t have Mosquitos where I live, but I have it on anyways). Function 3- electromagnetic inner wall repelling technique. Function 4- negative ion producer to repel pests and kill airborne viruses (this is the one that works for bugs and roaches). It covers 5000 square feet and has a one year guarantee. I have noticed that the roaches I do find are dead, so either it’s working or my kitty cat has been hunting at night. Overall, this is a great product and really does work.
